Skateboarding access is limited and subject to property management rules. The spot has historically hosted authorized Sunday sessions known as JKwon Sundays or Church Sundays. Visitors should confirm current access before skating.
JKwon, also known as Radio Korea or 3700, is a landmark street-skate plaza located on Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles’ Koreatown. The spot gained international recognition after appearing in Blind Skateboards’ Video Days in 1991, particularly in Guy Mariano’s part, and remained connected to generations of influential street skateboarders, including Stevie Williams, Josh Kalis and Andrew Reynolds. Access has changed over time. Property management prohibited skateboarding, introduced security measures and installed skate deterrents. Community negotiations later established limited Sunday sessions commonly known as JKwon Sundays or Church Sundays. Because access is conditional and management rules may change, visitors should confirm current conditions, respect security, keep the plaza clean and follow local session etiquette.
